My first solo museum exhibition was at the University of California, Riverside, Museum of Photography in Riverside California in 1994.  It consisted of three photography based projects incorporating autobiographical source material including:  His Bedroom, The Village and Real Men Dead Heroes.  Each body of work investigated multiple aspects of the individual and societal acculturations and expectations inherent in the formation of masculine identity and behavior along with the resulting physical and emotional consequences.

Each series is also an exploration of the formal and presentational possibilities of photography ranging from classic monochrome silver gelatin prints to three dimensional photo-constructions and time based projections combined with sculpture and audio.
